Dr. Joshua Coen is originally from Michigan and a graduate of Michigan State University. He earned his doctorate from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.

Dr. Coen has practiced in multi-disciplinary settings across the United States—including Texas, Indiana, Michigan,Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Illinois—following his wife's executive career. Most recently, in July 2026, he and his family returned home from London, England, after three years of adventures abroad with their son and daughter.

Having played sports growing up and now raising two active children, Dr. Coen has always enjoyed exercise and believes it is a critical factor in maintaining a healthy body. When the opportunity arose to open a practice within LA Fitness, he leaped at the chance. Access to this world-class facility allows his patients to receive the most comprehensive care possible.

Throughout his diverse experience, Dr. Coen has collaborated in multidisciplinary offices alongside other chiropractors,physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and even anesthesiologists. While he deeply values the specific benefits of chiropractic care, he also respects the unique contributions of other health disciplines. This background fuels his eagerness to partner with physical therapists and personal trainers within his LA Fitness office. He believes that by layering these disciplines together, patients will experience quicker, longer-lasting results, allowing them to return to the activities they love while avoiding surgeries and medications.
